Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday...Where Did the Thursday Go?

Okay, I'll just go through as much as I can remember it!

Friday: My parents, brother, and I went down to my grandma's house. I got to decorate my birthday cake with chocolate frosting and pretty blue roses made with frosting. We colored eggs with some of our family members. I drew a bat on one of my eggs! It was wicked looking!

Saturday: We celebrated Easter. The family came over. We had dinner. I got to open my presents. I got $215 and a $20 gift card to Borders!!! Booya! My uncle opened his presents, and then we ate cake! A while after the cake, the Easter baskets were passed out to everyone and I started to eat candy. The little kids got those wooden paddles with the strings on them attached to rubber balls. One year old Evan found out how to use the paddle and kept accidentally hitting people with it.

Sunday: We went to church with my grandma and had lunch at Wendy's. Then we headed home.

Monday: I went with Dawn to Casey's house again to see the baby sheep. They grew SO big! The little ram is huge now! We were able to catch all three of the babies so that we could get a closer look. The little ram is a handful, but I think I'll be able to deal with him. Dawn decided she will probably pick the bigger of the two ewes because she looked better in our opinion.

Once we finished wrestling with the baby sheep in the mud, we hung out for a while. Casey's dogs got into a fight and two of them got hurt, but it wasn't anything serious. His mom cleaned up the dogs and they settled down. After that, we watched an anime that is six episodes long. It was a very weird anime. Dawn laughed because I kept making funny faces.

When I got home, I learned my brother had been throwing up since he'd gotten home from his track practice. Turns out that he'd gotten it from the rest of the family while we were visiting. I had really hoped that I wouldn't get it.

Tuesday: Guess what? I woke up Tuesday with the flu. Thank goodness it was NOT the barfing flu, though! I got it out the other end of my body. I was not a happy camper all day Tuesday. Who CAN be when they're running to the bathroom every few hours?

Wednesday: My mom was diagnosed with bronchitis. She developed it after she had the nasty cold that my dad had.

Friday: My mom and I went shopping to get party supplies. Tablecloths, plates, napkins, candy...all the things I need for one of my birthday parties! Yay!

People have RSVP'd now! Here is the list. I'll say after each person if they are coming or not! Refer to my last post if you can't remember who these people are.

Dawn = Of course she's coming!!! She's spending the night, too.

Cassidy = He couldn't make it. He went out of state to visit his grandmother.

Tailor = She's coming and spending the night.

Steven = I haven't heard from him yet.

Ryan = He said he's coming for a few hours.

Chantel = She's coming and spending the night.

Mel = She is coming, but I don't know if she's spending the night.

Shannon = (Mel's best friend) She is coming, but not spending the night. This is the first time she is coming to one of my birthday parties!!! She's never been able to make it to my past parties.

Shannon = She couldn't make it because she is working.

Ali = She couldn't make it because she came down with pink eye.

Diana = She can make it, but she can't spend the night.

David = He said he was coming.

Michelle = She's coming, but I don't know if she's spending the night.

Casey = He can't make it because he's out of town on a ski trip.

So, the know-for-sure people are: Dawn, Tailor, Ryan, Chantel, Mel, Shannon, Diana, David, and Michelle! Yay!

OMG!!! Two days ago, I got a huge pimple on the side of my nose!!! It's a killer zit! Run for your lives! I can't help staring at it when I see myself in a reflective surface. I...want...to...pop...it! But then it'll leave a huge red mark on the side of my nose! I hope it'll be mostly gone by tomorrow so that nobody will notice it! Why me?!?!? Why now?!?!? I hate pimples!!! Please, God, make it go away by tomorrow!

Okay, I'm done talking. I will update the soonest chance I get!

Buh-bye!

Fanfics and Easter and Birthdays and Trips! YAHOO!

Pretty cool picture, huh?

This is Echo, one of my original characters for a fanfiction I'm writing based on The Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins. If you haven't read the series, I definitely suggest you do.

The series is about a boy named Gregor and his younger sister, Boots, who find a secret, hidden world miles below New York City. In this world, called the Underland, there live giant rats, bats, mice, cockroaches, ants, and a race of humans with skin so pale that you can see their veins. There are other giant creatures in the Underland, but you'll just have to read the series to find out what they are! The books are (in order): Gregor the Overlander, Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane, Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods, Gregor and the Marks of Secret, and Gregor and the Code of Claw.

As for Echo, she is the bat bond of Jason Wolf, a runaway "Overlander" who lives most of his life in the Underland now. Jason and Echo are "bonds," which means that the two of them took an oath to protect each other despite anything they might encounter.

Echo is not the only original character in my fanfiction, though. There's Capella, a ginger bat with dark brown markings who later bonds with Angela King, the main character of the fanfiction. The bats Artemis (a female) and Apollo (a male) are twin siblings. My other OC character is Crimsongash, a rat. I have pictures for most of them, but I don't want to swamp this post with a bunch of pictures!

That's what I've been doing lately story-wise. As for the rest of my life, I had a birthday yesterday. Eighteen! Booya! I'm officially an adult now!

What did I do for my birthday? Not much, actually.

Dawn brought me a Happy Birthday balloon that I had to carry with me around school, so EVERYONE knew it was my birthday! Right after school, I went to get a "surprise" in the office. It turned out to be a bouquet of flowers in a glass vase with a little Beanie Baby sheep attached. The poor sheep got wet because someone put WAY too much water in the vase. I had to poor out some of the water so that I could get into Dawn's car. After that, Dawn and I went to her house and watched Jeff Dunham movies. (He's a hilarious ventriloquist!) Dawn's mom gave me $30 for my birthday. I was SO happy!!! My mom picked me up and we headed home. I had sausage rolls (mmmmm!) for dinner with breaded cheesesticks. It was SSSOOO yummy! During dinner, I watched a taped episode of Law and Order with my parents. After that, I read until it was bedtime. Not a very exciting birthday, huh? I was content, though.

Tomorrow (Friday) my mom, dad, brother, and I will be heading to my grandma's house to color eggs with the family. Saturday the family will get together and celebrate Easter with baskets full of CHOCOLATE! YAYAYAYAY!!! I love chocolate! We'll also be celebrating my birthday (PRESENTS!!!!) and my uncle's birthday. Sunday we'll come home...and then my brother and I get the rest of the week off! I don't know WHAT I'm gonna do! Monday, Dawn and I might go and have one of our FFA advisors check out the sheep that we're gonna get from Casey. Then, Saturday the 26th...I'll have another birthday party!!! I invited a bunch of my friends, and I hope they can all come! Here's who I invited: Dawn, Cassidy, Tailor, Steven, Ryan, Chantel, Mel, Shannon, Shannon, Ali, Diana, David, Michelle, and Casey! Who are these people???

Dawn = my BESTEST BEST friend

Cassidy = Dawn's boyfriend

Tailor = a friend who reminds me of a younger me

Steven = a guy in my Astronomy and Economics classes

Ryan = the son of my mom's best friend (known him since 6th grade)

Chantel = the daughter of my mom's best friend (known her since 6th grade)

Mel = a girl in my AP Stats and Economics classes

Shannon = my friend and Mel's best friend (known her since 9th grade)

Shannon = a friend (known her since 6th grade)

Ali = a girl in 10th grade who is in FFA with me (Diana introduced me to her last year)

Diana = Mexican girl in my Photography class (known her since 9th grade; she's been in one of my classes all 4 yrs of high school!)

David = my ex-boyfriend (the breakup was mutual, so we're still friends)

Michelle = a goofy girl who sadly isn't in any of my classes (known her since...uh...junior high maybe???)

Casey = a guy Dawn and I met at the local fair last year (Dawn and I will probably be getting our sheep from him)

And those are the people I am inviting! YAYAYAY! I can't wait!!!

As for whatever else I've been doing...I came down with a stuffy nose/sore throat!!! I'm happy that it comes in the early morning and leaves by around 10:00 in the morning. I hope I get over it soon, though!

I've signed up to go on the Astronomy Field Trip!!! We're going to a astronomy museum in a town near Las Angeles. It's a couple hours on bus. Steven is going to be going, too. I hope he'll sit with me on the bus, or I'll get stuck next to someone I won't want to talk to. Yay for Astronomy!!! (The trip is the birthday present from my parents...it was $125 to go! I'm saving up the $50 I got from my grandparents and the $30 from Dawn's mom to pay for souvenirs and snacks on the trip!)

That's all I can think of right now!

Aches and Pains and Crazy Dogs = A Boring Week

It's Friday. Can I say "yippy"?

::cricket::cricket::

I guess not...

Well, I'm not all happy-go-lucky today because I've been sick since Tuesday night! I'm going to have so much work to do when I get back to school next week. I hate being sick! And Holly and Bandit (the dogs) aren't much help, either. All day long they're in-and-out and in-and-out and growling at each other and pouncing on me and blah blah blah. My mom has been sick as well, so she's been having to deal with the crazy dogs, too. Basically, all Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday my mom and I did practically nothing.

We slept.

We watched television.

And I read.

Oh, and we drank tons of Gatorade and water.

Talk about a boring week!

Dawn called me Tuesday because she was concerned because I wasn't at school. I called her today to ask her if she could pick up something at the school office for me, but it turns out that she's sick AND she twisted her ankle on Wednesday during her Winter Guard practice. So, yeah, she's way worse off than I am with an achy body flu.

That is basically all that I have done this week. Pretty boring, huh?

 { insert a witty title here }

Mondays are flooping stupid.

I feel like I didn't even have a weekend because my family went out of town Friday night after school. We went to my grandma's house. All day Saturday I watched television and wrote some more on a Digimon fanfiction that I started. (I'm probably going to try and keep this one short...) So, basically, my mind was mush all day Saturday due to watching cartoons and low-budget sci-fi movies. On Sunday, we went to church and then to my cousin's house for a birthday party. My cousin Evan turned a year old. I got a bunch of cute photos with my digital camera of him eating his birthday cake. Dylan, Evan's older brother, told Evan that he's a "messy boy" since Evan had chocolate cake all over his face. It was very cute.

That was basically my weekend. I got an hour on the computer Sunday night, which definitely wasn't enough time. Then again, I did see the message that my friend Michelle sent me on Myspace. Michelle and I have known each other since like 2003. We met on an Animorphs messageboard and immediately clicked. Since then, we've exchanged e-mails and become like sisters. I know that, whenever I have a problem, I can write her an e-mail and get a response in a few days that usually makes me feel much better. I'm very glad that she finally messaged me; we haven't talked since last year. We've both been busy this year with school. She's a freshman in college and I'm a senior in high school, so our worlds are a little hectic as of late.

Today I was planning on spending all night on the computer, but it turns out that plan was lost from the get-go. My parents got the electric bill in the mail today, and they couldn't figure out why it was like ten times the amount it normally is. I guess it turns out that the guys who put up our fence didn't quite fix the electrical line they hit while they were digging the holes for the wooden posts. So, instead of waiting for my mom to finish talking to my grandma, I had to wait til she was finished talking to my grandma, to my aunt, and to an old neighbor who is an electrician who told us what he figured was going on with our electrical lines. I sat by and watched as 10:00 (my bedtime on school nights) drew nearer and nearer. My brother wanted to check his Myspace (he's a Myspaceaholic) so that meant I'd have even LESS time than I would if he'd just left me alone.

So, now it's almost 10:20 and I have dishes that need to be washed. It's past my bedtime and I'm still pretty because I wasn't able to get as much time on the Internet as I would have liked. These are the problems of having dial-up and a younger brother who is a Myspaceaholic: 1) When the 'rents are using the phone, there's no possible way to go on the 'net & 2)My brother is practically always asking me to check his Myspace. He's telling me that he gets to have the Internet all night tomorrow (somewhere between 7:00 to 10:00), even though I only get to have it for...say...40 or so minutes. HOW IS THAT FAIR?!?!?

Erg. Steven told me he gets to go on the Internet whenever he wants to at his house because he doesn't have siblings there who he has to take turns with. It can be nice sometimes to have a sibling, but other times it's better when they don't exist for a few hours so that you can do something you want to do without having to share it with them. I love my little brother, but sometimes it's just so frustrating.

Oh, well. I guess I should get off and go wash dishes...though I REALLY don't want to wash dishes right now. I'm tired and angry and down right frustrated over that stupid electric bill...

Why is it every time I want to do something on the Internet, something or someone stops me from going on, but whenever my brother wants to get on, the only thing hindering him is the 30 minute wait while my mom talks to my grandma?!?!? That seems to happen every time I REALLY want to go on the Internet, especially after a weekend where I didn't get a chance to go on. And I might not even get the chance next weekend because my mom said that my brother could have his friends over, and they hang out in the cat room where the computer is and play loud videogames the whole time they're here! So if they do come over, there goes my time on the Internet! Maybe I should invite one of my friends over this weekend, just so I have something else to do that will distract me from not having the Internet. Then again, I'm having a birthday party sometime soon...

I'm going to go before I start spewing out any more frustrations. I'm sleepy and I want to go to bed.

G'night.
